Kenadey & Cody’s Iowa Event Center Wedding, Des Moines
Kenadey & Cody’s wedding at the Iowa Events Center was EVERYTHING! I’ve never seen so much confetti in my life (I was still pulling it out of my camera bag a week later, hah!)
The craziest part = they planned everything out in less than 6 months! (Shoutout to Taylor from White Willow Events for all of her incredible planning efforts!)
And because you KNOW I love a good backstory:
“Cody and I met when I was bartending. We knew each other through mutual friends, but boy was he shy and took months to actually have full conversations with me! I like to say he stalked as he came in every night that I worked, he likes to say he was a dedicated customer on those specific nights. His friends definitely joke that they just stopped asking where they were going to eat knowing it would be Mulligans! Finally after many nights of us growing more comfortable with each he got me across the street for drinks after work, still very shy I never knew if he liked me or not. After quite a few wild and crazy 6a.m. nights of really just being friends and hanging out in groups, a little game of footsie under the bar turned into him asking for a date and being inseparable. After a year and a half he decided to get down on one knee and ask me to be his wife.”
