Kaylee & Bill’s Cedar Rapids Wedding

Kaylee & Bill are the real deal.

They first connected on match.com four years ago and shared their first date at a Brewery in Minneapolis (where they live with their sweet pup, Mickey!) It was important to them to meet in a well-lit, public place to ensure the other wasn’t a serial killer (I can appreciate that mentality a lot, actually… haha).

I love their proposal story a lot –

“June 2018 was my first father’s day without my dad. We wanted to do something special and fun that weekend with our families to keep spirits up so we rented a beautiful lake home in Minnesota. My mom, brother, aunt and uncle were there and Bill’s mom, and of course our dog Mickey, came as well. We had a wonderful weekend relaxing in the sun, playing yard games on the lawn, and enjoying each others company. That Friday we were all outside hanging out when Bill said something me about checking out the dock. We walked out to the end of the dock and here he got down on one knee and proposed! Our moms were so caught up in an intense game of bags that they almost missed it! The neighbors at the nearby docks all cheered and we spent the rest of the weekend celebrating with our family.”

The entire wedding day was full of love and all-around awesome energy! Kaylee & Bill wanted a fun celebration with their friends and family with lots of dancing and good food – and I think they nailed it!

Thank you both SO much for having me there to document your day. You two are the bee’s knees and I’m so happy we had the chance to meet and work together!!
