Jennifer and David were the absolute sweetest couple. They brought their sweet pup along to their session at Waterwork Park in Des Moines. I don’t know about you, but those shots with the engagement ring and the puppy paws, they just make my heart melt. Jennifer sent us her proposal story and it’s perfect. “My favorite holiday is 4th of July! We went up to Grand Marais, MN to one of David’s cabins for the weekend. We planned this wonderful hike early in the morning. On our way back to the car, we stopped at one of the rocks overlooking the river. He pulled out a journal for me to read. As I was reading it out loud, I began to cry. When I looked up after reading the letter, David was on one knee asking me to marry him. It was a true magical moment! We got back into the car and drove back to town and celebrated with a beer. We barely had any cell phone service so we were able to celebrate just us two for a couple of hours before calling family.”
