Holly & Ian’s Destination Wedding in Joppa, Maryland
A little over a week ago I flew out to Baltimore to photograph Holly and Ian’s wedding in Joppa, Maryland. It was an absolutely GORGEOUS day! Ian’s grandfather officiated the outdoor ceremony on the same property of St. Mary’s Assumption.
Holly & Ian met their senior year at the University of South Carolina. The first time they hung out outside of anything school related, Ian made an impression on Holly with his karaoke version of “Africa” by ToTo. The rest was history!
The proposal story, from Holly: “Last September, we had planned a trip to Paris. (Ian said he wanted to do it in Paris but leading up to it he got too nervous about holding the ring while traveling and being anxious about the proposal) So, he proposed the night before we left. 🙂 Very casual and sweet, we were both at home having champagne and he proposed. “
All of the vendors were so great! Caitie & Alex with Betty Lou Events made everything run absolutely seamlessly and they were SO personable and fun to work with. Everyday Rose knocked the floral arrangements and bouquets completely out of the park.
