“The most anticipated moment for me was seeing Brandon for the first time as I walked down the aisle. I think I forgot to breathe for a second. The moment my dad and I entered and room and everyone stood up and looked at me was SO overwhelming. That’s truly when it hit me that I was the bride. The most special moment, was after Brandon and I exited the ceremony room and walked down the hall. We went around the corner, just us, and hugged and cried together. It was like “Wow, we are married. We did it!” That was another huge wave of emotion. Our bridal party then found us, and we all hugged and cried and celebrated together. (insert heart eyes emoji)”
“For me, the 2 most important things in all the planning were choosing my dress and the photographer. The dress because of course you want it to be perfect. And the photographer because after the day is over (and oh my goodness, it goes so fast) the photos are all you have left to remember and relive every moment. It was important to me to chose a photographer that could really capture the emotions of the day. The candid and genuine, unposed moments are SO important. Anyone can pose a picture, but not everyone can capture moments and emotions when you weren’t looking at the camera. Looking back at the photos Chelsea blessed us with, they evoked laughing, crying, “awwww-ing” and wanting to go back and relive our day all over again, forever.
My marriage advice would be keep God at the center of your marriage. Learn to pray for each other and with each other. Learn to be understanding, forgiving, and aware of your spouse’s perspective. Never lose focus of why you fell in love with that person, why you married and them and why you chose forever with that person. Pick your battles and learn to apologize ( sometimes even if you think you are right). Love is a feeling, but also a choice. Choose to fall in love all over again every single day.” – Hannah G., newlywed and #CDWbride
